St. Bernards Auxiliary sponsors ... Jr. Volunteer Summer Program

As a St. Bernards Junior Volunteer you’ll be dedicating your time to an exceptionally worthy cause, helping us fulfill our mission to provide Christ-like healing to the community through education, treatment and health services.

This year, our program is designed to encompass volunteerism and education. The program allows students (aged 15 – 18) an opportunity to work in a hospital setting where they will explore careers and gain experience in helping others.

We will have two, three week sessions where we will only accept 18 students for each session. The first session will be June 9 – 27, 2008 and the second session will be July 7 – 25, 2008. Each student will volunteer two days per week at various stations of the hospital and have an education day on Friday of each week. The education component will allow our teens to obtain their CPR/First Aid certification, learn about the different components of healthcare, as well as round in three different areas of the hospital.
