Kidz Fun Fair

The 2008 Edition of Kidz Fun Fair will be Saturday, August 23, 2008 starting at 8:00 a.m. at St. Bernards Auditorium at 505 East Washington Avenue.

Sponsored by the St. Bernards Women's Advisory Council, the Fun Fair is an educational extravaganza for children of all ages and their parents.  This year's theme is Schoolhouse Rock.

Entry Deadline - Fri. August 15, 2008

Highlights:

• The Fun Fair Art Contest is open to students in kindergarten through fifth grade (2008-09 school year) who attend school in Northeast Arkansas.
• All work must be original and completed in 2008. The work cannot have been in previous shows.
• Each entry should be an example of what students like about attending their school.
• Each First Place Winner will receive a new bicycle and special recognition during The Awards Ceremony on August 23.

• Eligibility requirements: Students can be in kindergarten through fifth grade (2008-09 school year).
  • Work must be in only two dimensions.
  • All media will be accepted.
  • Work must be securely matted with a stiff back. No framed work will be accepted.
  • A label with title of work, student’s name, school, phone number and  grade should be attached to back lower left of work.
  • Maximum size accepted will be 24 inches by 30 inches.
  • Bring entries to St. Bernards Foundation at 400 East Street by Friday, August 15, 2008. Entries may be delivered between 8AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Entries must be picked up on Monday, August 25, 2008 between 8 AM- 5 PM at St Bernards Development Foundation, 400 East Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas.

The St. Bernards Foundation, Women's Advisory Council, is an organization of over 120 women formed in 2003 to help St. Bernards identify women’s and children’s health issues and to provide insight into how well St. Bernards meets those needs and how they can better meet them in the future. The group sponsors the very popular Kidz Fun Fair  and Stories in the Forest. The group also undertakes other projects with health ties that have wide community appeal.
